Students combine art,
energy awareness in fun project

For the fifth year straight Bishop Energy Engineering sponsored first through sixth-graders in Northwood-Kensett Public School District's energy poster contest. More than 550 N-K and other Iowa school children put crayon to paper to showcase their artistic talents and energy awareness. Winning artists received savings bonds. The winning posters are mounted in a traveling Energy Art Gallery. Northwood is nestled in the shadows of hundreds of large wind turbines on the Minnesota-Iowa border.
